Jon Rolfe has been an IT professional for over 16 years and during that time has worked for some of the world’s largest IT services companies. He is currently a Operations security Manager for a leading global technology company where he specializes in designing and delivering secure Microsoft based enterprise architectures for clients in the UK public sector and large blue-chip companies.

During the course of his career he has gained extensive experience at all stages of the IT lifecycle including enterprise architecture design, software development, rapid system deployment and supporting large enterprise systems.  Jon has also been awarded several professional qualifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Chartered IT Professional Membership of the British Computer Society (MBCS CITP).

Jon is also the author of the book Using Ubuntu by Babani Books, and technical editor of Pro-Windows Powershell and Pro Hyper-V by Apress.

When not working, Jon has an active interest in digital photography, following motor sport, and enjoys mountain biking and skiing.
